Yohoo all.... It's been awhile since my last blog... almost 1 week ago... hahahaha... How have you been? It's kind of bz week for me this week... was in malaysia during the past weekend attending my god-brother's wedding.... back in SG on monday... and wrk and wrk till now.... hahahaha.....
Last nite twinkle read out an interesting email to me... hee hee... sure it brings lots of memories of ours when we are young... We kept laughing as twinkle read the email.... so I'm sharing it here with everyone... think only those who are born in Singapore in the 70s & 80s will understand what the email is potraying..... ENJOY!!! (^^)y For those who born in the 70s and 80s. Fond memories...... 1. You grew up watching He-man, MASK, Transformers, Silver Hawk and Mickey Mouse. Not to forget, Ninja turtles, My Little Pony and Smurfs too. 2. You grew up brushing your teeth with a mug in Primary school during recess time. You will squat by a drain with all your classmates beside you, and brush your teeth with a coloured mug.The teachers said you mustbrush each side 10 times too. 3. You know what SBC stands for. 4. You pay 40 cents for Chocolate or Strawberry MILK every week in class. 5. You watch a very popular Malay dubbed Japanese drama on RTM1 about schoolgirls who possess powerful skills in volleyball called Meoro Attack. 6. You find your friends with pagers handphone cool in Secondary school. 7. SBS buses used to be non-airconditioned. The bus seats are made ofgood and the cushion is red. The big red bell gives aloud BEEP! When pressed. There are colourful tickets forTIBS buses.The conductor will check for tickets by using a machine which punches a hole in the ticket. 8. Envelopes given to us to donate to Sharity Elephant every Children's Day. 9. You've probably read Young Generation magazine.You know who's Vinny the little vampire and Acai the constable. 10. You were there when they first introduced MRT here. You went for the first ride with your parents and you would kneel on the seat to see the scenery. 11. Movie tickets used to cost only $3.50. 12. Gals are fascinated by Strawberry Short Cake and Barbie Dolls. 13. You learn to laugh like The Count in Sesame Street. 14. You longed to buy tibits called Kaka (20 cents per pack), and DingDang (50 cents per box), that had a toy in it and it changes every week not forgetting the 15 cents animal crackers and the ring pop, where the lollipop is the diamond on the ring. 15. You watched TV2 (also known as Channel 10) cartoons because Channel never had enough cartoons for you. 16. Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, The Three Investigators, Famous Five and Secret Seven are probably the thickest story books you ever thought you have read. Even Sweet Valley High and Malory Towers. 17. KFC used to be a high class restaurant that serve food in plates and let you use metal forks and knives. 18. The most vulgar thing you said was asshole and idiot and THE MOST EXTREME WAS 'super white'...you just couldn't bring yourself to say the hokkien relative. 19. Catching was the IN thing and twist as the magic word. 20. Your English workbooks was made of some damn poor quality paper that was smooth and yellow. 21. CDIS were your bestfriend. 22. The only computer lessons in school involved funny pixellised characters in 16 colours walking about trying to teach you maths. 23. Waterbottles were slinged around your neck and a must everywhere yougo. 24. Boys loved to play soccer with small plastic balls in the basketball court. 25. Teng-teng, five stones, chapteh, hentam bola and zero point were all the rage with the girls and boys too... 26. Science was fun with the balsam and the angsana being the most important plants of our lives, guppies and swordtail being the most important fish. 27. Who can forget Ahmad, Bala, Sumei and John, eternalized in our minds from the textbooks. Even Mr Wally & Mr. Yakki. What abt Miss Lala??? And Zaki and Tini in Malay Textbooks? 28. We carry out experiments of our own to get ourself badges for being a Young Zoologist/Botanist etc. 29. Every Children's day and National day you either get pins or pens with 'Happy Children's Day 1993' or dumb with 'Happy National Day 1994'. 30. In Primary six you had to play buddy for the younger kids like big sister and brother. 31. We wear BM2000, BATA, or Pallas shoes. 32. Your form teacher taught you Maths, Science and English. 33. The worksheets were made of brown rough paper of poor quality. 34. You went to school in slippers and a raincoat when it rained, and you find a dry spot in the school to sit down, dry your feet, and wear your dry and warm socks and shoes. 35. School dismissal time was normally around 1 pm. 36. There would be spelling tests and mental sums to do almost everyday. 37. Your friends considered you lucky and rich if your parents gave you $3 or morefor pocket money everyday. 38. You see Wee Kim Wee's face in the school hall. 39. You freak out when the teacher tells you to line up according to height and hold hands with the corresponding boy or girl. 40. Boys like to catch fighting spiders. 41. Collecting and battling erasers was a pastime for boys. 42. Autograph books were loaded with "Best Wishes", "Forget Me Not", and small poems like "Bird fly high, hard to catch. Friend like >>you, hard to forget". 43. Class monitors and prefects loved to say "You talk somemore, I write your name ah!" 44. There were at least 40 people in one class. 45. Large, colorful schoolbags were carried.50. You brought every single book to school, even though there was one thing called the timetable. +++++ Memories don't only bring pain... sometimes it brings laughter too...!!! +++++ Neko's Heart

So happy with my hair... I went to dye my hair black and a little highlight ard my fringe area.... hee hee like my new pic on the left.... actually it should be red... super bright red ... but haiz.. my dad and mum object to the red colour saying I watch too much anime or what... DAD says," You think you are cartoon ah? GO change that color.... Go.... dye it black or whatever....!!!" SOB!!!! so sad.... no choice... I drove out to the nearest supermarket and get a light blonde brownish color to cover the red fringe... hahaha... but it turn out nice too.... muahahaha.... I LOVE IT NOW.... During chinese NEW year... I'll do the red one.. but... not so bright red again.... (sob)......!!! ONE thing is... I Love BLACK HAIR... Really.....!!!! Wahahahhaa.... Will Blog again soon.... Woooohoooooo...!!!! It's Thursday!!!! Tomorrow is..... FRIDAY!!!!
My favourite day of the whole week.... FRIDAY.... TIME... go faster to reach the after work time on friday evening.... when it reaches that point of time... pls slow down as much as possible... XD (* biash! biash!* "Crazy girl that's not gonna happen ok!!!") T-T Since young my favourite quote in the world is "船到桥头自然直" Whenever I'm very stressed up during tests, exams, School assignment, projects even till now... work & dateline aka DEADLINE....!!! Lolx..... I always look forward to the day after the dateline... I know that I'll be ok and happily enjoyin that day.... a big feast that I'll reward myself either during lunch or dinner.... these keep me motivated.....hahha.... Sometimes we as human tends to worry too much... starts to imagine alot of negative outcome and situations..... but when we finally reached that point of time... sometimes it's not so bad... right? hahahahha..... To me....sooner or later I'll reached the point of time to cross the finish line regardless it is 100m away or just 0.01cm away.... what matters is... will I be happy... laughing...... waving to the crowd... accepting their cheering after I cross the line or I'll be angry, sad or crying for not trying my best or blaming myself for not working hard in practicing my skill ??? Normally I'm the crying one.... hahahahaha.... cos I'm a real lazy person.... lazy lazy... till I blame myself for being lazy which make me what I am today... hahahahahaha..... I've alot of dream jobs I wan to do.... it gets more & more as I grow up... even till now... there are new jobs poping up which I wan to do.... but.... think I'm too late for those job..... maybe not so late just slower then other people.... and it needs to spend alot of time and effort... when now... my lazy worm is growing bigger both mentally & physically... hahahaha..... I love to read manga alot.... since young I wish to be a manga artists but... in SG.... not possible.... hahahahaha.... so off it goes..... I wanted to be a writer in those chinese novel........ which I normally read.... but..... SG chinese standard is way below (of cos not everyone we have pros in chinese in SG too)........ as to compare to countries like taiwan, hongkong & china..... recently I took up japanese language course.... it's so fun.... I like languages.... at the same time gaining knowledge of other countries culture. Easier to travel aboard for more opportunity..... If 5 or 6 years ago I start taking up other languages course... maybe today I'm a translator or whatever job that requires that certain languages. I've always wanted to master japanese.....since secondary when I starts to be a manga addict.... lol... I've always think... how good if I'm able to read in japanese? I'll be able to read more manga...... I'll make sure that I'll master japanese... wahahahha... another language I'm interested is Korean.... I admit... it's becoz of the korean drama.... but other then that.... korean texts looks interesting... I wan to know how they form a word and how do they pronouce it... and I've been to alot of korean interesting game site , cartoon site.... due to their wording... it prevents me to find out more.... sad.... hahahaha........... Me and twinkle intend to take up korean elementry soon too... looking around for korean language class... hahaahaha... if anyone happen to know... pls infrom me in my taggie.... thnks.....!!! OK... today I'm slacking in office.... QQ went Macua.... Fen dunno go where for lunch... till now still not back... can't chat wif her in msn... Pauline... think she's bz wif her presentation.... dun disturb her...... haiz................... off I go...... blog again................long blog I have today................ +++++++ Just a reminder +++++++++ Tomorrow is..... It's monday again...... I'm very tired... sleepy.... yawn...... 4 days to go...... till friday comes again...
Fun weekend I have..... Saturday.... went east coast park with Qi & Pauline.... we went cycling.... Hmmm... The last time I went cycling was with Pauline & her youngest sister at east coast park too... about 3-4 yrs ago I think.... lol.... so long ago.... expected to have muscle-ache on my legs... but surprisingly I have backache... lol... too tired..... we played on the beach near the jetty there.... alot of people crowd at the jetty fishing... no people are playing on the beach.... hahahaha.... only the 3 of us... Qi posted some pictures on her blog.... kekekeke.... Next mth we are goin there again... We've book chalet spending a night there.... Can't wait for BBQ.... Yummy....!!!! Sunday... Slacking on sofa watching VCD & sleeping... till evening 7+ woke up and get ready for my japanese class at 8pm. It's the beginning of Elementary stage 2... my class started off with around 12 - 15 students at Elementary stage 1... now only 5 students inculding me & twinkle signed-up for stage 2. Small class.... but I like it.... wahhahahahha.... My teacher complain to us about the community center we are having lesson... he wasn't happy with the facilities provided there.... compared to the other community center he taught.... I'm quite unhappy too after hearing what he said....... lazy people in the community center.... paying them for nothing.... haiz.... Feel like writing in to complain.... wahahahahahaha.......
